Be Thankful For What You Have (Travel Story)

On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Stockbridge, Georgia, my wife, grandson, and I stayed at a motel. It was a cheaper one run by Indians (from India). The motel advertised a Continental Breakfast. When we came to our breakfast in the ten-by-eight dining area with two or three small tables, we found a few boxes of cereal, some bagels,  milk, and coffee. A man who had also come to breakfast said, "It's a real smorgasbord." A woman nearby said, "He should be thankful for what he has."

It never fails to amaze me how two people can view the same thing so differently.

I agree with Jon. Happiness is about gratitude. Richard, I can't wait to finish your stories. My husband deleted my kindle on a laptop that we no longer share, but as soon as I get a new one I will finish your book and write a review on Amazon and Goodreads. My life has been hectic lately. Cheers.

I echo Jon's sentiment. It really his something how two people can view the exact same thing in such a different way.

My comments keep getting rejected, so if I post a few, sorry, just delete them.

This observation approach is nice, it allows me to feel my own powerful emotions about a scene I never witnessed. Well done.
