(Again, I can't post a comment on my own blog.)
Elizabeth Varadan stated the difficulty of finding a Beta reader. No doubt about it.
A couple of places to find an intermediary between the writer and Beta reader might be a college professor who knows another professor or student who likes to read or someone you know in a club that might know someone who likes to read. It's difficult, and I've never really tried to find one, but I've not reached the final draft that I'd want someone to read--yet. But soon.

Maybe you can cross-post on my WordPress blog, we can both tell our followers here on our blogspot blog that you're over at my place. Perhaps do a joint thing as some do, I've noticed. Just a thought....
I'm heading over now to "guest" you.
I've found that English teachers make great beta readers.
I love my beta readers. I would not want to do this without them. If you don't have betas, get them! Wherever makes sense for you. Extra eyes is always helpful!
I just came from Ann Best's reviews of three of your published stories. Very impressive! I am certainly looking forward to reading more of your work.
i like to ask whether or not the writer wants me to read as a beta or a CP.
A good place to pair up with someone is thru Writer's Digest community.
I am game to be either a CP or a beta for anyone! Of course, I have a few that need a beta or a CP too, so it could be an exchange. Anyone game just drop me an email.
